OWCP / DOL Experienced Occupational Medicine

We are a multidisciplinary medical clinic with Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Pain Medicine, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy that specializes in the treatment of OWCP – DOL Federal Injured workers and Auto Accident victims. Our doctors are board certified in Occupational Medicine, Environmental Medicine and Family Medicine.  Our doctors have multiple decades of experience in treating OWCP & DOL federal work comp injuries.

We also offer Medical Fitness for Duty examinations including DOT physicals with drug and alcohol testing for federal & state employees. We have nationally certified medical examiners that provide DOT physicals for OTR drivers, pilots, police, fire and rescue and annual physicals. Our medical providers have years of experience  with  impairment ratings, scheduled awards and getting cases approved,  report writing experience and getting treatments authorized that may be getting denied by OWCP.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy is a type of treatment that uses many different methods to execute one goal. Involved in Physical Therapy you have stretches and range of motion exercises. Another Physical Therapy approach is massage. Last but not least hot & cold packs and ultrasound are commonly used in the everyday treatment of Physical Therapy.

Chiropractic Adjustments

The objective of the chiropractic treatment is to reduce the a partial abnormal separation of the articular surfaces of a joint., with the goals of increasing range of motion, reducing nerve irritability and improving function.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of traditional Chinese medicine involving thin needles inserted into the body at acupuncture points. It can be associated with the application of heat, pressure, or laser light to these same points. Acupuncture is commonly used for pain relief, though it is also used for a wide range of other conditions.

NCV Testing

A nerve conduction velocity test (NCV) is an electrical test that is used to determine the adequacy of the conduction of the nerve impulse as it courses down a nerve. This test is used to detect signs of nerve injury or damage.

Massage Therapy

In Swedish massage, the therapist uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration, and tapping. Sports massage is similar to Swedish massage,
adapted specifically to the needs of athletes. Among the many other examples of massage are deep tissue massage and trigger point massage, which focuses on myofascial trigger points (muscle “knots”) that are painful when pressed and can
cause symptoms elsewhere in the body.
