Dr. Mark Seldes

Dr. Seldes has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and has become highly proficient and competent at performing federal workers compensation evaluations. He is able to open new cases, re-open closed cases, and has an excellent track record at performing impairment rating rebuttals. Dr. Seldes has the knowledge and skills to help you medically as well as assist in navigating the process of dealing with OWCP. He is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center

Wayne Shires, M.S., P.T.:

Dr. Shires has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, and a Post-graduate certificate in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He belongs to the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, the American Physical Therapy Association and the Better Business Bureau. He is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center.

Dr. Dipti Patel

Dr. Dipti Patel holds her Chiropractic Physician license in the State of Florida. She specializes in treating patients who have pain from an auto accident or personal injury in the Tampa Bay Area. She started her career in chiropractic medicine seventeen years ago in NYC, after graduating from Life University of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. Dr. Patel is a graduate of University of Massachusetts. She is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center.

Dr. James Zaccari

Dr. Zaccari has been practicing medicine in Florida for over 20 years. Dr. Zaccari graduated from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Here at M&R Therapy Center Dr. Zaccari serves as our Medical Director for our Auto Accident and Personal Injury patients.

Bryan Dwyer, PTA:

Originally from Buffalo NY. Where he received a degree in Business and Physical Therapist Assistant in 2011. Bryan attended SUNY Buffalo where he got a Bachelor’s degree in business. He received his associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Niagara County Community College. He has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant for 9 years. He is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center. 

Laurie Belfiglio, PTA:

Laurie graduated from St. Petersburg College with an Associate of Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant program.  Laurie has only worked in the outpatient physical therapy setting as she has a passion for physical activity and helping others. She is an active volunteer with Girls on the Run as a Solemate runner and was a running coach for several years. She also volunteers as a camp counselor at Camp Living Springs, an adult cancer camp through Morton Plant. Laurie enjoys helping others one to one to meet their goals. Laurie continues to develop her skills through certifications within the outpatient orthopedic setting. 

Jospeh Thomas, MD:

Dr. Thomas was born in Schenectady, New York in October 1960. Following graduation from Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons High School, he attended Northwestern University where earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering in 1982. He was commissioned as a Line Officer through the Naval ROTC Scholarship Program.

Applying for a transfer to the Medical Corps, he was accepted to the Uniform Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, and graduated with a Medical Degree in 1995. He completed a Transitional Internship at the National Naval Medical Center.  In 2000, he was accepted to the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program at Uniform Services University. He received a Master of Public Health degree in 2001 and completed residency training in 2002. CDR Thomas was board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine by the American College of Preventive Medicine in January 2003.

He served as the Department Head of Occupational Medicine at Naval Hospital Jacksonville from 2002 to 2006. Upon retirement, he has begun private practice and is currently the Medical Director for CompMed Cares in Jacksonville, Florida. He is engaged in occupational medicine consulting. He is also participating in active patient care at M&R Therapy in Tampa, Florida.

Gersey Rodriguez, LMT:

Gersey has been a licensed massage therapist for 9 years. She graduated from MT, Sanford Brown Institute in 2011. She is trained in Swedish massage, chair massage, hydrotherapy, reflexology, clinical rehabilitation and much more. She is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center.

Danielle Martin:

Dr. Martin is a doctor of oriental medicine and acupuncture physician with a degree from East West College of Natural Medicine. She also has a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport. She is board certified by the NCCAOM and Nationally certified in Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy.  She has been studying and practicing alternative medicine for over 8 years. In acupuncture therapy she specializes in pain management, stress reduction, GI issues, menstrual conditions, arthritis, allergies and weight loss. With acupuncture point injection therapy she specializes in weight loss, immune support and pain management. She is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center

John Testa LMT CMLDT:

John Testa, a Tampa native has been a licensed massage therapist for 15 years. His specialties include Rehabilitative massage, sports, stretching, advanced oncology massage training, and certified in Lymphatic massage. MA#46226.

James Hoisington LMT:

James has been a Licensed massage Therapist over twenty years. James graduated from the Ohio College of Massotherapy in 1995. James has been licensed by the Florida Department of Health since 1996. He is Certified in Swedish style massage and in Trigger Point therapy. He is currently employed at M&R Therapy Center
